I had no clue what it was

I really thought this was so funny, I still laugh to myself about it. My boss said he wanted to get us all something for our laptops we really were going to like. I thought maybe he was buying us bags to carry them in. but he told us he was buying us a dongle and I just looked at him. What was he talking about, it sounded dirty? It turns out that it is what some people call the wireless adaptor.  You plug into the computer, for wireless connections. Now I have to tell you, I never heard it called that before now.
