Killer Baits for Crappie Fishing

This post is all about the best crappie baits for crappie fishing. I am partial to lures, but you can use one to two inch minnows to accomplish the task.

But, let’s move to lures. Crappie jigs are the best crappie baits available. And topping the list of crappie jigs, marabou jigs take the bait. They have been around forever, and have caught many, many fish.

After them are rooster tail and curly tail jigs. Rooster tail jigs are basically a marabou jig with a straight shaft spinner blade attached. And curly tail jigs are basically just marabou jigs with a curly tailed plastic worm for a body.
