Tutoring Service Helped me Get Through College

After completing high school, I took the next step and applied for college. While I had good grades in high school, I didn’t really work hard. I knew what the teachers wanted and knew how to give them the right answers while putting in minimal effort. After a semester of college, I realized that this wasn’t going to cut it and contacted a tutoring service. My tutor was able to walk me through subjects that I was weak in and strengthen the concepts that I’d skated through in high school. He also helped me adapt to the college format and take more responsibility and accountability for my work. In the end, I was glad for the extra help and my grades reflected it.
