Things Weren’t Looking So Great

My brother and I were walking through the city the other day, and he asked me how things were going with my wife.  I told him that things have been great.  My wife and I were just celebrating the fact that our daughter had gotten into la james beauty school, so we would be sending her off in the next couple of weeks.  He told me that he was really happy for us.   I knew that his son had been working on a scholarship of his own at a state school.  I asked him how it was going, and he said that it wasn’t coming together quite yet.
