Rabbit hutches must have covers in the Winter.

The winter months can get extremely cold, in some countries more than others and it is very important to keep your rabbits warm by getting a cover for your rabbit hutches. The covers keep the warmth in making your rabbit more comfortable and in the long term making him healthier. A rabbit cover can be expensive so if you can’t afford a fitted one then simply place a quilt or a blanket over the hutch at night which will be more than adequate. The cover not only keeps the rabbit warm but also in the Summer months, when the sun doen’t set until late, it gives the rabbit darkness to help it sleep.
