I Wasn’t Concerned About Student Loans
September 26, 2009 2:11 am MiscellaneousWhen I was a young man going to college, I wasn’t very concerned about taking out student loans. I figured that when I got my degree, I would be making enough money to take care of the payments without a problem. But I never did graduate. Instead, I got married and had several kids. I had to take a construction job just to support them. The loan payments were such a big burden that I just quit making them. But then I found out that I could consolidate federal student loans. It reduced my payment enough that I could afford it without taking from my family.
