Birmingham or Manchester

The debate in my circle of friends has been going on for years. Manchester or Birmingham? I am never really sure if we are comparing beer or soccer or the countryside. One thing is clear about the debate, though. Both cities have great hotels. Birmingham hotels have always treated me better than Manchester, so I often vote Birmingham. I often stay at a place called the Apollo Hotel. It is suitable for me when I am on business or leisure, and I have always found the staff to be most accommodating. One thing I do recommend when staying at the Apollo is the location. You must go for a walk and experience that area of the city. It is a really nice experience.
