Keeping Things Nice

My home has needed some work for quite a while now, but I never really got around to it. I work a full time job, and it is touch to find time in my schedule to start projects around the house. What I am wanting to do, currently, though, is build some custom Shelving in my living room. I have a large collection of books and movies that I want to be able to store on a nice shelf. I take very good care of my possessions, and I just need specific places to keep them so that they can stay nice.
