Doctors Get Paid to Write Prescriptions, Not Cure ADHD

It’s funny, but my grandpa always said something similar – that doctors always treat symptoms, and not the causes of sickness and disease. For two men that didn’t get along, they sure had similar opinions, which they passed on to me. When my daughter was diagnosed with ADHD, I accepted it, but not the idea that she needed drugs to control it. Instead, my wife and I tried some alternative medicine for ADHD, from a book we bought. Many of the alternatives worked, which just proved what grandpa and dad said all along.
