We tend to be away from home a lot, and we worry about the house when we are not there. It would really make us a bit more comfortable if we had a home surveillance camera keeping an eye on things while we were away, even if it wasn’t monitored. The other day when my husband left for work I heard the strangest noises coming from the garage.  It was a clunking and a shuddering combined.  Then  later in the morning there was a big bang.  I ran out to look and the garage door springs had snapped off the cable.  I couldn’t believe the sound it made.  I got on the phone and made some calls and found a business that could come out that very afternoon and take a look and see what it needed.  The man was very professional and had the part the garage needed and got it fixed for us right away.  What a relief!

Outdoor Vinyl Flooring Looked Nice But It Was Not For Us

We have a beautiful back yard.  My husband has put a lot of time into planning and then installing the landscaping.  One of his favorite is the area set aside for entertaining and relaxing.   It is a combination of wooden decking and gravel.  We had seen outdoor vinyl flooring advertised and thought that this might make a colorful addition to this area.   As it turned out we would have to to put down an under decking to support the vinyl.   Then we ran the risk of loosing the whole thing when it rained if the water got between the flooring and the under flooring.
