Two weeks ago my whole family took a trip to Laughlin Nevada. We live in Oakland California so the trip took quite a while. Since we had a long way to go the topic of conversation changed over many times. When we started out the topic of conversation was mainly regarding what we were going to do as a family this coming summer. Later on my little brother started talking about an ares musica download. Famous Guitar Players

Famous guitarists always seem to have all the fun. Eric Clapton, Hendrix, Flea, they always make the shows and concerts what they are. I would imagine the life of a rock band guitarist is not bad, not bad at all. Legions of fans, endless amounts of partying, having entire stadiums hang on every note you play, that has to be intoxicating. I remember playing in band shows when I was in middle school, and my saxophone section had to do a solo at the front of the stage at one point during our Christmas show. It was pretty cool to have an entire auditorium listening to us, I cannot imagine what it must be like at a rock concert where the fans are actually rowdy. Hopefully one day I can play the guitar for my friends and have them go a bit nuts, since I think my hopes of being a rock star are probably ready to be laid to rest.

Awesome Indian Tabla

My friend Rejiv is an Indian. She grew up in India and her brothers too. But then they moved her for some reasons. We became friends and it was so amazing how we felt like we knew each other since the day we were born. She even taught me how to play the Indian tabla.    She’s very patient in all things. Learning to play the Indian tabla was a hard thing to do for me at least but her patience was so amazing. After a few days I was able to play basic songs with the Indian tabla. I was amazed and proud of my self!

Music in different cultures

Music from each culture has its own unique sound, and often times you can tell what country a song comes from just by the way it sounds, meaning what instruments were used and in what manner.  Sometimes, songs from other cultures are the hardest ones for me to learn, even if I do have access to free guitar chords.  Sometimes I feel like I would need my own different band to reproduce the feeling conveyed by some of those songs, there is really only so much you can do with a guitar.  If I were to play something from India, for example, I would need a sitar or something.
