Year 2007 was a good year for the identity thieves.  Consequently, it was a horrible year for the people of America.  In 2007, about eight million Americans became identity theft victims.  By that, almost 50 million dollars went down the drain.  The police and bureau authorities are still in the lookout to find ways to finally put a nail on the coffin of the identity thieves.      Though credit report monitoring, it is possible to lessen the damage of identity thieves in your bank accounts.  It is not really possible to put a halt on the onslaught of identity thieves.  But you know, there is really a hope to diminish the losses of you hard-earned money.
