The main advantage of Aluminum Motorcycle Trailers over steel trailers is that they are a lot lighter. This may or may not be important to you. If you have a smaller car and heavier bikes then you don’t want all of you towing weight capacity to be tied up in the trailer weight as it’s the combined weight of the trailer, bike/s, vehicle cargo and hitch that need to be under your maximum capacity. Another consideration is the type of trailer you are purchasing. If it is just a single rail trailer it does not use as much material as if it was an enclosed trailer, so the difference in weight is not as important. So, aluminum is definitely worth the cost if you need a lightweight trailer.
