Never To Be Disappointed in th Smoky Mountain Nature

There is no denying the  splendid and majestic beauty of the Rocky Mountains and the Sierra Nevadas. As for me, the Great Smoky Mountains are more gorgeous and impressive in a unique and particular way.  They have a particular uniqueness about them that is difficult to describe.  That is why I want to spend time photographing the Smoky Mountain nature.  Whenever I am in the Smokies I experience a sense of being immeresed and wrapped in an environment that is smehow familiar.  It’s almost like being home.

The Cherokee named this place long before the white man was here.  My ancestry was Cherokee and maybe that is why I experience a unity with these mountains.  Whatever it is I feel it is something that draws me back over and over again to search and photograph this region.  It is with a huge anticipation that I come to the Smokies.  Wanting to discover something new and different.  To take home a cherished photographic image.  I’ve not ever been unsuccessful in being in this fantastic place.  I will come back once more and again and invariably with a lot expectation of what it may disclose to me.
