Famous Guitar Players

Famous guitarists always seem to have all the fun. Eric Clapton, Hendrix, Flea, they always make the shows and concerts what they are. I would imagine the life of a rock band guitarist is not bad, not bad at all. Legions of fans, endless amounts of partying, having entire stadiums hang on every note you play, that has to be intoxicating. I remember playing in band shows when I was in middle school, and my saxophone section had to do a solo at the front of the stage at one point during our Christmas show. It was pretty cool to have an entire auditorium listening to us, I cannot imagine what it must be like at a rock concert where the fans are actually rowdy. Hopefully one day I can play the guitar for my friends and have them go a bit nuts, since I think my hopes of being a rock star are probably ready to be laid to rest.
