Technology
Phones and text messages are useful however to most businesses these are ‘add-ons’ to the main source of business communications - the computer. Current communications networks permit the general public access to reports and data ‘as it occurs’. It is more safe and efficient to work in an office that has a wireless network. There is no need for cables running from desk to desk to connect them for printing, faxing and Internet connections. Connection free communications has allowed access to shared information thereby improving efficiency.
It is great in the home too as it is more convenient to be able to access the Internet from any room you choose. Life is a lot easier with a wireless network; no messy cables to worry about, you can go where you need to go.
It is anticipated that with the technical advancement of wireless networks, there will still be people who fuss about the possible effects on their health, deducing that electromagnetic radiation is damaging. It is a personal choice as far as using a home network goes but before you decide; just remember the jury is still out on whether any real danger exists. I have been committed to my marriage since the day I said my vows, but that doesn’t mean everything has been perfect.
