Entertainment Shopping or Addiction?

When I first started bidding in the new formot of an auction called Entertainment shopping, I thought nothing more of the new idea other then, “wow, I can get some really awesome deals here, and it is actually sort of fun.”  Soon though I came to realize that Entertainment Shopping is extremely addictive.  The more times you bid on an auction, the harder it is to let the item go to someone else since the more bids you place the more money you have invested in that given product.  It can be compared to a failing business that you keep throwing money at, and the longer you go, and more money you throw at it it, the harder it is to let the idea go.

Anything For Love

I am a newlywed who is trying to keep her new hubby’s palate satisfied.  Even though I find it repulsive, I needed to learn how to boil cow tongue.  His mother is the one who got him hooked on this strange dish.  I decided I should go straight to her.  These are the directions she gave me:  Boil the meat along with bay leaves (3 or 4) and a whole clove of garlic.   For tender meat, you need to let it boil at a very low temperature for about three hours.  When the skin easily peels off from around the meat, you know it is done.  Peel off all the skin and throw it out because it will be tough.  Cut it into sections like small, round steaks.    Eat and enjoy (if that’s possible)!

Giving Care and Respect at the Same Time

When I was a little girl, our church used to go to the extended care places and visit with the elderly and sing to them, read a book, or just visit.  I always enjoyed those visits so when I graduated high school, I decided that I wanted to look into cna careers.  I now have a job where I work in a place where I can talk to these wise people and even though I take care of them, I’ve learned so much more.  Some of them have a hard time having someone take care of them, but if you do it in caring way and with respect, they will be just fine.

Must Buy Aquarium light and More

I have to buy all kinds of new stuff to go with my new tank aquarium I found. You wouldn’t believe it! I found it just sitting all by itself by the trash abandoned in the alley yesterday. I am putting the tank in my living room by the wall so it goes undisturbed. I think I am going to buy freshwater fish but I do not know what kind yet. I know I will need an Aquarium Light , an aquarium heater, maybe a timer and some great décor, including some coral. Of course, I need a special kit to test the water and a filter siphon. I think the only other things I will have to get are a net and some fish food.

No Need To Pay More

My family spends a lot of time enjoying movies at home.  We took the money we would have spent going to the movie theaters in one year and invested it into our home system.   This is our primary source of entertainment and we don’t want to just slap any cheap department store cables on it.  We found everything we need for our home theater system online on one convient site.  From DVI to HDMI, they have it all.  High quality cables make all the difference in the sight, sound, and overall performance of our equipment.  We would be willing to pay a little more, but with this awesome site, we do not need to.

Going Away To School

This year one of my goals is to upgrade from my old computer. When I was just starting high school my dad gave me an old desktop. I was thankful for the gift, but now that I’m graduating and going off to college I think I need to buy a laptop. I want something with a 14 or 15″ screen. I love playing games, so it’s gotta be something with lots of speed. It will be very important for me to check my emails, so I need to have something with wireless capabilities. I’m going to search online tonight to see if I can find the right laptop for me.

Make Up after a Break up?

How easily do you think you would make up with your boyfriend after a serious break up? What if after more than a year together you were broken up for a month…or longer?! Do you think you could ever get back what you had and still be in love with one another?

I ask this because I’ve recently been through a break up with my boyfriend of over two years! He told me he needed some space, just a little break to get his mind clear. I didn’t know we’d be apart this long, it’s been over a month now! And to top it off, a friend of ours told me he’s starting to date!!!

I really want him back! But how can I win my ex boyfriend back before he falls in love with someone else? (
